The Wild Rice Exchange helped develop a meatless burger for a nationally known brand. The burger was precooked and prepared with a custom Wild Rice and mushroom flavor profile.  The customer loved the results.

The advantage that WRE brought in was that we offered a specially processed wild rice blend which did not require cooking, thus simplifying the manufacturing process and saving the client time and money. 

Another benefit was that the  burger, which once intended to be a meat substitute, looked very grainy. To improve marketability WRE offered a blend that helped the burger to take on a more meat-like appearance.
